Q: What happens to my testnet points/rankings/rewards? How can I view or redeem them?

• A: During the testnet, you can earn points by completing tasks and reporting bugs. Progress can be viewed anytime on the [Points] page. Details on how these points will transition to the mainnet or specific redemption rules have not yet been announced. Please await official announcements regarding the final calculation and distribution of rewards.
   

Q: Are mainnet and testnet accounts the same? Do I need to use the same wallet address?

• A: The mainnet and testnet are independent networks. We strongly recommend continuing to use the whitelisted wallet address you submitted to connect to the mainnet, ensuring any potential early-adopter benefits are accurately distributed. Testnet and mainnet accounts are separate but can use the same wallet address. When users visit sodex.com, a selection window for mainnet or testnet appears. Both the mainnet and testnet banner menus include entry points for switching between networks.
   

Q: Will testnet transaction history be retained?

• A: No. The testnet is an independent testing environment. All data (including transaction history, balances, positions, etc.) will be cleared after testnet transaction points distribution ends and will not migrate to the mainnet. Before data clearance, Sodex will take a snapshot of all users' points for airdrop calculations. Additionally, the testnet will remain operational for testing purposes without rewards.
   

Q: Will the ‘Gas-Free’ transactions from the testnet be available on the mainnet?

• A: No gas fees are required for any transactions or transfers on Sodex. Spot trading, futures trading, and transfers between spot and futures accounts are all gas-free. This gas-free feature is a permanent, fixed product functionality.
   

Q: Do I still need to manually add the ValueChain mainnet to my wallet? Are the RPC node details the same as the testnet?

• A: When adding the ValueChain mainnet in your EVM wallet, the backend will automatically add the network for you. Alternatively, you can manually add the ValueChain mainnet. As mentioned for the testnet, you need to “[Add] to add ValueChain in your wallet”—the mainnet requires the same action. The mainnet's RPC node details (e.g., network name, RPC URL, chain ID) will differ from the testnet. Manual setup details for the ValueChain mainnet:

Q: What is ValueChain? Do I need to understand it before using SoDEX?

• A: You can simply think of ValueChain as the high-performance blockchain infrastructure built specifically for SoDEX. It functions like a dedicated highway for financial transactions. You don't need to be a blockchain expert—just know that SoDEX operates on ValueChain, providing you with a secure, transparent, and efficient on-chain transaction experience.
   

Q: Which crypto wallet should I use?

• A: You can use mainstream EVM-compatible wallets available on the market, such as Safepal Wallet, Bitget Wallet, MetaMask, WalletConnect Wallet, etc.
   

Q: What's the difference between a ‘Spot Account’ and a ‘Futures Account’? Why do I need to transfer assets between these two accounts?

• A:Spot Account: Used for spot trading, where you directly buy or sell crypto assets. Upon completion, you immediately own the assets.
• Futures Account: Used for futures trading, where you buy or sell contracts for future delivery, often with leverage.
• Fund Transfers: To ensure risk isolation, funds in these accounts are separate. If you wish to trade spot, ensure sufficient funds in your Spot Account, and vice versa. You must use the internal “Transfer” feature to allocate funds.

Example: When you deposit an asset (e.g., USDC), the funds first enter your Spot Account.

1. You can immediately use these funds for spot trading.
2. If you wish to trade contracts, you'll find your futures account balance is $0. You must manually transfer the required amount from your “Spot Account” to your “Futures Account” using the platform's internal “Transfer” feature.

Conversely, when you profit from your futures account, you must first “transfer” those profits back to your spot account before withdrawing funds or purchasing other spot assets.
