To further improve trading efficiency and optimize the experience for active traders, professional market makers, and long-term ecosystem participants, the SoDEX Dynamic Fee Tiers are now officially live. This launch includes:
- Dynamic Fee Tiers
- Maker Rebate Tiers
SOSO Staking Fee Discount Tiers
Through a more refined fee structure, SoDEX aims to provide a more competitive trading environment for different types of users based on their trading activity, liquidity contribution, and ecosystem participation.Perps + Spot are combinedYour fee tier is based on combined perps and spot volume.
(14D weighted volume) = (14D perps volume) + 2 × (14D spot volume)
How your final fee is determinedYour final fee depends on whether you are a taker or a maker:
- Taker fees are always based on your 14D volume tier, with an optional staking discount:
Taker fee = Base taker fee × (1 - Staking discount) - Maker fees work in two ways:
- By default, same as taker:
Maker fee = Base maker fee × (1 - Staking discount) - If your 14D maker volume share reaches a threshold, you qualify for Maker Rebates — a standalone negative fee rate where the platform pays you for providing liquidity. This replaces the volume-based maker fee.
- By default, same as taker:
Dynamic Fee Tiers
SoDEX will automatically assign users to the corresponding fee tier based on their rolling 14-day trading volume (14D Volume). The higher the trading volume, the lower the trading fee.The current fee tiers are as follows:
| Tier | 14D Volume | Perps Taker | Perps Maker | Spot Taker | Spot Maker |
| 0 | ≤ $5,000,000 | 0.04% | 0.012% | 0.065% | 0.035% |
| 1 | > $5,000,000 | 0.036% | 0.01% | 0.055% | 0.025% |
| 2 | > $25,000,000 | 0.032% | 0.006% | 0.045% | 0.015% |
| 3 | > $100,000,000 | 0.028% | 0.002% | 0.035% | 0.005% |
| 4 | > $500,000,000 | 0.026% | 0.00% | 0.03% | 0.00% |
| 5 | > $2,000,000,000 | 0.024% | 0.00% | 0.025% | 0.00% |
