SoDEX Testnet Paper Trading Competition Is Here – July 14, 2025

 

Fellow SoDEXers,

 

 

We’re excited to launch a limited-time paper trading competition featuring dual leaderboards(ROI & trading volume) and substantial point rewards for top performers.

 

 

Event Period:

July 14, 12:00 UTC – July 28, 12:00 UTC

Note: Only trading activity during the paper trading competition will be counted.

Trades made prior to the competition start will not be included.

 

 

Competition Tracks

The competition features a combined leaderboard interface with two independent ranking dimensions:

1. Trading Volume Leaderboard

Points will be awarded to the top 100 users ranked by total spot trading volume during the event.

2. ROI Leaderboard

Points will also be awarded to the top 100 users ranked by spot trading ROI during the event.

Note: Each leaderboard has its own separate reward pool, with identical point distribution. Participants can appear on both leaderboards and receive rewards from each, depending on their positions.

 

 

Points Distribution

Rank 1–10	120,000 points per person
Rank 11–20	100,000 points each
Rank 21–50	70,000 points each
Rank 51–80	45,000 points each
Rank 81–100	20,000 points each

 

ROI is calculated using the formula: 

Return on Investment (ROI) = PnL / Cost Basis


Profit and Loss (PnL) = Current Assets + Total Withdrawals - Cost Basis


Cost Basis = Initial Asset Value + Total Deposits


Current Assets = Total Asset Value of Latest Snapshot（Take every 15 minutes)

Eligibility

To qualify for the leaderboard rewards:

• Your Spot Account must hold assets equivalent to at least 7,000 USDC
• Your cumulative trading volume must reach at least 30,000 USDC (based on the median volume of all users)
• We take snapshots every fifteen minutes. For new users, trading volume before the snapshot time point will not be included in the leaderboard which is approximately a 15-minute cooldown period after claiming faucet tokens.

Quick heads-up: don’t sell all your $SOSO — it’s used for gas fees.

Without $SOSO, you won’t be able to transfer test tokens from your EVM funding account to your spot account.

To ensure fairness, Sodex will audit all testnet participants before reward distribution. Accounts engaged in wash trading, bot-driven fake transactions, or any other cheating behaviors will be disqualified.
